Impressed by Depeche Mode, OMD, Camouflage, in fact the whole of the New- and DarkWave of the 80ies, Petra Kutschera knew early that she had only pop music in her head. Her creative ambitions were later influenced by And One and the monumental sound of Blutengel. So finally she found the musical style in which she wanted to implement her own ideas. Despite their name, Canadian Invasion is an American band from Philadelphia. Members include Andy Canadian on vox, Jim Foley on bass, Eric Miller on lead guitar and Chris Morita on backing guitar and vocals. Their sound recalls The Replacements, The Pixies and Spoon to name a few. .
