Jaks were a band hailing from Ann Arbor, Michigan. The predatory force from Katrina Ford, Sean Antanaitis, Jessica Ruffins and Shawn Gates. They created a savage sound full of foreboding doom with an unruly & sharp-toothed intensity of math rock and goth punk. It was heavy, nasty and raw similar to bands like The Birthday Party, Nation of Ulysses and Antioch Arrow. Sean Antanaitis and Katrina Ford now reside in Baltimore, MD and are currently performing in Celebration. .

Czech pop-punk-rock band from Prague, formed somewhere in the summer of 1992 and recorded 10 albums do far. In the beginnings, Jaksi taksi were rather connected with some kind of punk-rock music, and were closer to punk, but in last 3 albums they set out on the road to melodic pop-punk music, with political issues in some of their lyrics. .

With four of A Scarcity of Miracles' participants past Crims—Fripp; drummer Gavin Harrison, from the 2008 tour; bassist Tony Levin a longstanding alum from 1981 on, barring the 2000-03 lineup; and saxophonist/flautist Mel Collins returning after an absence of over 35 years, last appearing as a guest on the landmark Red (DGM Live, 1975)—it's a small leap to place it within the Crimson continuum. Add Jakko M Jakszyk, who managed to do the near-impossible—sing and play Fripp's knotty parts in the all-Crimson-alum tribute, 21st Century Schizoid Band (also featuring Collins)—and it would seem impossible for this group to be anything...
