The Fab Faux, formed 1998 in New York City, are a tribute band that covers The Beatles. In addition to covering earlier, guitar-based numbers, the Fab Faux are notable for attempting highly accurate live performances of later, more complex Beatles pieces such as "Strawberry Fields Forever", "I Am The Walrus" and "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite". They also perform originally over-dubbed, harmony-driven songs such as "Because", "Nowhere Man" and "Paperback Writer" by employing five or more vocalists. Andrius Pojavis, (born 25 November 1983 in Jurbarkas, Lithuania) is a Lithuanian singer-songwriter. On 20 December 2012 he was selected to represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden. Pojavis began singing at a young age, and during high school he played in a band called "No Hero". After graduating from high school, Pojavis moved to Vilnius where he graduated History studies at Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences and played in a number of bands, including the "Hetero", who won the "EuroRock" competition in 2006. fauxmusica (2005-2010), or ʄ≜uxmuℭica (2011), was an avant-garde noise project initiated by Zane Michael O'Brien in 2005 as a collaborative effort between himself and Bradford Cox (Atlas Sound). The two were never able to agree on a direction of joint artistic collaboration and Bradford quickly left the project to focus soley on his songwriting role in Deerhunter. Faux Jean is a singer/songwriter/song-and-dance man based out of the United States. He was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota. Though currently residing in Minneapolis, Faux Jean has lived in Frieburg im Breisgau (Germany) and Madison, Wisconsin. He has played on the streets of each town named.
