Clara Lucila Campos Marcial (16 August 1938 – 12 December 2016 in Lima) was a Peruvian singer known as "la Morena Espectáculo" and "Reina de las Polladas". Lucila Campos, the quintessential interpreter of Afro-Peruvian folk music, was, for 17 years, a prominent member of Black Peru, an Afro-Peruvian cultural association whose mission was to preserve the art and culture of Blacks in Peru. He grew up in Montréal, Quebec, and is fluent in French, English, and Spanish. He was Born in Santiago, Chile, and now resides in Los Angeles, California.
