Issues is a modern nu metal band with heavy RnB and Metalcore influences from both Atlanta, Georgia and Los Angeles, California. They formed in the summer of 2012 and were signed to Rise Records shortly after their formation. The majority of the band's members originated from ex-members of Woe, Is Me. Issue is Droop-E's brother. He is part of the Sick Wid It records family founded by Bay Area rapper, E-40. He performs a style of experimental, surrealist raps heavily influenced by electronic soundscapes. It's a semi post-Based, generation Z approach to rap as an amalgamation of genres. .

Scar Tissue emerged from California's goth/industrial scene in 1990 and was alternately labeled "power electro", "tribal industrial" and other adjective combinations exposing them as not fitting into a particular sub-genre.
