Páll Óskar Hjálmtýsson (born 16 March 1970), known internationally as Páll Óskar and Paul Oscar, is an Icelandic pop singer, songwriter and disc jockey. Páll Óskar's musical range spans traditional Icelandic songs, ballads, love songs, disco, house and techno. He released his first album, Stuð, in 1993 while in New York City, and also sang with Icelandic groups Milljónamæringarnir (The Millionaires) and Casino while establishing a career as a solo artist. Nerina Pallot (pronounced pal-oh in the French style) (b. 1975) is a London-based recording artist. Pallot was born in London, but spent most of her childhood on the island of Jersey. Her mother is from India, whilst her father is native born from Jersey. Early in life, she spent some time living in India, but spent most of her early school years in Jersey. The name Palladium has been used by several bands, most recently by the New York City-based Psychedelic Rock/Electronic shoegaze band, formed in early 2011. Palladium released their debut album, "Phantasmagoria", on March 1, 2011, after being written, recorded, mixed, and mastered in 23 days as part of the 2011 RPM challenge. Their second RPM record, "Clever Killer", was released on March 1, 2012. They will record and release a third studio album on March 1, 2013, before going on an "indefinite hiatus". .
