Legion of Parasites were an anarcho-punk band from the 80's based in Bedford, England. They released a number of records throughout their time. They apparently released their first demo in 1982, but it somehow got lost and was never properly released, and released "Deathwatch" demo in 1983, which were followed up by "undesirable guests" in 1984 before they composed their masterpiece "The prison of life" in 1985. Instigated by personal complications and heartache, MyParasites was conceived into this world in early 2004. Eventually a team of revolving live band members was haphazardly assembled with the eager intent to play live. A few shows throughout the years questioned the importance of this project. It wasnt untill late 2007 that MyParasites was provoked to unleash its true potential. Parasites are an American pop-punk band originally formed in 1985 by guitarist and singer Dave Parasite (a.k.a. Nikki Parasite) and bassist Ron Nole, formerly of the locally-known band, The Accelerators, in New Jersey. Dave later relocated to Berkeley, California, forming a new band with local players. The Parasites have had many personnel changes, with the most notable members being drummer Dan Cofer and his brother Scott Cofer, both formerly of the thrash-metal band Pillage Sunday. Started by brothers Jimmy (drums) and Freddy (vocals/guitar), their intentions were simple; to start a musical project that would let them release their anger and tension through loud vocals and loud instruments.
