there are at least 9 bands or artists with the name Frantic: 1. a psychedelic rock band active in the 70s, hailing from Billings, Montana, with influences of 70s garage rock, hard rock and blues rock 2. a swiss indie band: Since the new millennium frantic are known all over Switzerland and across the border. With their first studio album Change and their radio single “Mr. Genius” the four gentlemen and the one lady made their first steps into a successful future. In 2008 guitarist Mary founded Frantic Amber with the idea to have a band that could deliver more attitude and brute force than what is normally seen in all-girls-band. Members has changed several times since that first idea and the quest for the right singer took quite a long time. But in 2009 Frantic Amber finally found a true metal vocalist in Elizabeth from Denmark, and since there was no point in wasting time the band recorded a few promosongs with her. In late 2009 fate would have it so that Mary and Elizabeth were the only two members still...
The Frantic V were formed in early summer 1994. The boys then decided it was time for Thessalonica to see some real garage raunch, so they went off for summer vacation. Fat and Frantic were a band. They are no more. Sometimes they reappear to play concerts and call themselves "Rev Softly". But not very often. They played a mixture of gospel and skiffle which they called "goffle". Some people accused them of playing a mix of punk and skiffle called "piffle". They played netween 1985 and 1992, and a one-off reunion gig in 1998. They were often to be found at Greenbelt, occasionally on tour around the UK, sometimes at the Edinburgh Festival fringe, and even sometimes found playing gigs in all girls schools (where the audience response to the...
