Billy Dalessandro is a Chicago based DJ and producer. Starting in 2000, Dalessandro has built a solid reputation for himself playing a fusion of the classic Chicago house sound and it's modern European counterpart. Some of his tracks have been included on electronic music compilations such as: John Digweed's Fabric 20 and Mathew Dear's Fabric 27. .
Was born in Milan, Italy in 1973. Composer, saxophonist and sound artist. Almost all his work in sound art has been based on the musicality of speech, on investigating the sonic qualities of interactions, misunderstanding, and translation. So far, he produced pieces for radio, electro-acoustic compositions, and pieces for ensemble and installations. His background and parallel present is that of being a soprano sax player in improvised and experimental music contexts. Generally speaking, he's probably an overthinking musician re-negotiating his musical practice each time and taking this re-negotiation into the artwork itself. .
Alessandro Moreschi (November 11, 1858 - April 21, 1922) was one of the most famous castrati singers of the late 19th century, and was the only castrato of the classic bel canto tradition to make sound recordings. He was, in fact, the only castrato ever to make solo recordings. He was perhaps the best known castrato of his day after Domenico Mustafa, a former Direttore Perpetuo of the Sistine Chapel. Other famous castrati singers at this time were Domenico Salvatori and Giovanni Cesari. .
