starRo is a solo project by Shinya Mizoguchi, Los Angeles based Guitarist/Keyboardist/Producer. Music is Downtempo influenced by Straight-ahead jazz, Brazilian, Folk, Acoustic, Soul, Hip Hop etc. .

After ten years of classical percussion and following a PR job with a music label, Emmanuel Santarromana finally got into the clubbing scene as additional percussionnist for DJ Mandrax, Charles Schillings, Laurent Garnier... in the most important European clubs such as the Mad (Lausanne), Plastic People (London), the Queen and the Rex Club (Paris). In 1998, he started DJing, and hasn't stop spinning since, except for a stint managing his own restaurant Le Royal Mondétour, a stylish Parisian meeting place for the world of fashion and music. Uruguayan folk icon Alfredo Zitarrosa lived his childhood in the small town of Santiago Vázquez. Influenced by an elementary school teacher, the enthusiastic young man started paying attention to classical and traditional music. Alfredo Zitarrosa's writing skills allowed him to come in first place after participating in a local poetry contest in 1958, making his debut as a singer in the Peruvian Tulio Loza's Show, performing "Guitarrero" and "Milonga Para una Niña."
