Sonic Wallpaper is the sonic brainchild of USA artist Gideon Marken. He makes a range of styles of electronica, from ambient to IDM to house to tribal. He is also the person behind artist hosting site ArtistServer. .

The WallPapers (ages 15-17) first performed live together in March 2008 in their hometown of Paris, France. In Summer 2008, the band released their homemade album "We Are On The Wall" through MySpace.
