Florin Stoian (b. 1979, Bucharest, Romania), better known under the stage name of Florin Salam and (previously) Florin Fermecătoru, is a Roma singer of manele from Romania. He is one of the best known and appreciated manele performers. Stoian sings since he was a child; his first contact with music took place at age of four. His father and uncle were well-known lăutari. The “Choralschola der Wiener Hofburgkapelle” exclusively consists of former members of the “Wiener Sängerknaben”. Since 1952 the ensemble has been singing the Gregorian chants at the Sunday services in the Wiener Hofburgkapelle. Due to this continuous work, the the Schola developed into an internationally acclaimed vocal ensemble.
