Wonderful Broken Thing band members Jeff Klindt, Steve Bryant, John Killabrew and Kirk DeWald recorded this record Scotchtape & Threadspools in 1988 over a few weeks time and a lot of beer. It got a digital release in 2005. It is available on iTunes and all other music download sites. The music has been heard in the past on the now-famous H Street videos. The newest album, Looking for Mike Lookinland, was recorded in 1989 at a real studio. Even with all the advances, Wonderful Loot revels in a quaint vision of a "return" to that simple approach to music. The "Wonderful Loot" project simply tries to find that wonderful place, a simple but focused passion for music above all else amidst too much noise, too many toys and industry ploys.
