Miguel Zapata (Zapa) comes from A Coruña, Northern Spain. Former member of The Highlights, the spanish Bob Dylan tribute band, with which he toured intensively in 2006 when he was only 17. He started writing his own music soon after leaving the band, recording in 2007 his first demo, “Five Songs Left”. Formada a comienzos de la década de 1980 por Pedro Romero y Javier Avellaneda "Vieja" en las guitarras, Fernando Batoni en el bajo y Ernesto Rodríguez -sustituido al año siguiente por Félix Avellaneda "Pepe"- en la batería, con clara influencia del rock gótico británico (post punk y dark), en 1988 se une a la banda el guitarrista Álvaro Segura. Mia Katherine Zapata (August 25, 1965 – July 7, 1993) was the lead singer for the Seattle punk rock band The Gits. Highly influential in the Seattle, Washington music scene, she was considered a dynamic live performer and a uniquely gifted lyricist and painter.
