LUXT is a virtual melting pot of styles. Sometimes heavy, while at other times simply sublime. Sonically, they have borrowed from so many different sources they could arguably be called rootless. But rather than gimmick, image or other timely sources, the base of LUXT's strength is their songwriting. Luxtorpeda is a polish rock band, formed in 2010 by guitarist and vocalist - Robert Friedrich, who is known from bands like: Acid Drinkers, Arka Noego, Kazik na Żywo i 2Tm2,3. The Deluxtone Rockets were a band from Muskegon, Michigan. They began as a punk band, but by the time of their signing to Tooth & Nail Records they had evolved into a swing revival outfit. Their first album, which was self titled, was produced by Gene Eugene and Dennis Danell. They wrote their own songs.
