In 2004 the first idea for a band which later would be called Asmodi was born. One day Bilwis, Daevas and Volac met and decided to make musik together. With Volac on the drums, Daevas on the guitar and Bilwis doing the vocals they started first musical skirmishes. The basis to the band Asmodi was created. Asmodaeus and Nemo formed the industrial duo OB Minimax, operating in and around Antwerp, Belgium in the mid-eighties. OB Minimax produced 3 cassettes on various themes, composed with basic and mostly self-produced electronic instruments, and released by obscure local labels. Asmodaeus did some solo work, mainly minimal synth and more mainstream than OB Minimax and influenced by Belgian electronic pioneers like Front 242, The Clinic, M. Bryo and Absolute Body Control.
