There are two artists with this name; (1) a Danish world/folk/jazz trio (2) an alias for the electronic musician fred debief. (1) Bazaar was founded in 1976 by Peter Bastian (bassoon, clarinet, ocarina & percussion), Anders Koppel (Hammond organ) and Flemming Quist Møller (Percussion). Their music is inspired by traditional music of Balkan and Turkey, though they have as well roots in the free jazz of Keith Jarrett. ZzzAam (잠) was a Korean shoegaze band formed in the late '90s, hailing from the arts-centric Hongdae region of Seoul. Their self-released album "Requiem #1" appeared in 2002, followed two years later by their second and final release, "Mirror Game." Their consistently downtempo compositions were simply truth in advertising; Zzzaam is the Anglicization of a Korean word meaning "sleep." Qwazaar is a recording artist from Chicago, IL., born and raised on the South side in the Dearborn Homes housing projects. He is co-founder of the formation Typical Cats (on the Galapagos4 label), together with producers Dj Natural and Kid Knish and fellow vocalists Qwel and Denizen Kane. As an MC, he has a complex flow and a guttural voice, which he uses to tell his stories.
