This project is a musical collective series of improvisation, founded by Douglas Dickel (input_output, Blanched), inspired by Joshua Homme’s Desert Sessions. Hotel began in 2006 at the Live Studio, in Porto Alegre, when Dickel brought together musicians from the local indie & post-rock scene. Tokio Hotel is a German band founded in Magdeburg, Germany in 2001 by singer Bill Kaulitz, guitarist Tom Kaulitz, bassist Georg Listing and drummer Gustav Schäfer. The Black Hotels are an indie rock band from Johannesburg, South Africa.
