米津玄師 (Yonezu Kenshi), born on March 10, 1991, is a singer, songwriter & illustrator. He has released vocaloid music under the name ハチ (Hachi) since 2009. His official home page is at Reissue Records.
On May 16, 2012, he released his debut non-vocaloid album, diorama, using his real name. He was picked up by a major label (Universal Music Japan) about one year later, and released the single, サンタマリア (Santa Maria) on May 29, 2013. Anzen Chitai (安全地帯) was one of Japan's most successful pop bands in the 1980s.
Formed in 1973 as the high-school garage band Invader in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, its original members included vocalist Koji Tamaki(玉置浩二), guitarist Yutaka Takezawa (武沢豊), and guitarist / keyboardist Toshiya Takezawa (武沢俊也, Yutaka's brother). Later in 1973, drummer Kazuyoshi Tamaki (玉置一芳, Koji's brother) and bassist Takahiro Miyashita (宮下隆宏) joined. In 1977, the band changed its name to Anzen Chitai ("Safety Zone"), and Kazuyoshi Tamaki left the group, to be replaced by Ichiji Ohira (大平市治). Hiroko Yakushimaru (薬師丸 ひろ子, Yakushimaru Hiroko, born 9 June 1964) is a Japanese actress and singer from Tokyo. She made her J-pop debut on 21 November 1981, and her final JPOP release was on 13 March 1991. She made her acting debut in the 1978 movie Yasei no Shomei.
She married 玉置浩二 in January 1991, but they divorced in June 1998. .
Morning Musume (モーニング娘。), currently known as Morning Musume '17 (モーニング娘。'17), is a Japanese all female J-Pop group and the core group under the more expansive Hello! Project (H!P for short). Formed in 1997 when the producer of the band, Tsunku, challenged the 5 runner-ups of a TV competition, where they competed to become the lead singer of Sharan Q, to sell 50,000 copies of their demo single "Ai no Tane" in 5 days. They were successful and the reward was to be fully produced as their own act by producer Tsunku.
