Лихолесье (Liholesie) is a folk ambient project from Novosibirsk, Russia. Its beginning is lost in a fog of time and even the only member, Sever, could not tell you the exact date. The first demo "The Eternal Call" was published in 2002 with a small circulation, though it received good response in the press. In the spring of 2004 the Ural label Stygian Crypt published the debut Liholesie album "Извечное коловращение" ("Primeval Rotation"), devoted to 'year', a wheel of time, sacrament of death and birth, an ascention and decline.
