Kawashima Eigo (河島英五）was a singer, song writer and an actor. He was born in Higashi-Osaka in Osaka prefecture in Japan on the 23rd April 1952 and died a sudden death because of a liver disease after his oldest daughter wedding cerenomy 16th April 2001. Kawashima Eigo began his career as a musician while the 1970s together with ホモ・サピエンス (Homo Sapiens). After they broke up he started his solo career. 酒と泪と男と女 (sake to namida to otoko to onna - Sake (alcohol) and tears and man and woman) is Kawashima Eigos most famous song.
