Bands From Los Angeles, California, United States, Recently Los Angeles has slowly regained it's place among the top music scenes in the world.
The majority of "California" bands aren't really Californian, but rather come here due to the mass amount of studios and fellow recording artists.
The Offspring, Green Day, The Used, Incubus, blink-182 are often categorized as the "L.A. Sound" even though many are from Orange County or the Bay Area.
Slowly though, the music coming out of Los Angeles is being noticed again. Even if it will never be able to duplicate the era it once dominated , it is worth listening to these bands if you are looking for a new sound that doesn't stray to far from it's original rock 'n roll roots. .
