Saturday is a hip-hop duo out of the Twin Cities (Minnesota) comprised of both John Daniel and Z from dispossessed.Records .

Hailing from the nook that brought Tuscadero, the Dusters, and Unrest, the Saturday People define their own lush indie rock with jangly guitars and an effervescent live persona. The band - which features Velocity Girl expatriate Archie Moore (bass), ex-Tree Fort Angst mate Terry Banks (guitar), Dan Searing (drums) from the Ropers, and the Castaway Stones' Greg Pavlovcak (guitar/vocals) - have been perfecting their own folk-pop influential stylings in their native Washington D.C. since the late '90s. The debut single Feel So Real was issued in 1999, but their proper self-titled studio effort appeared on Slumberland in early 2001. .

The Canadian trio hails from Hamilton, Ontario and consists of Brad Germain (vocals, guitar), Ryan Tweedle(bass, vocals), and Adam Knickle (drums). After a great deal of success and airplay following their first independent self titled release, the trio hit the road on an international tour. Their second studio album was released in Canada in August of 2006 and is entitled [i/]Watch Your Candles, Watch Your Knives[i/] .

Saturday Index is an electronic music artist from Denver, Colorado, and one of several working aliases of James Becker (b. January 1987). He has released one LP and several remixes, and his work has been remixed by Seth Haley (Com Truise), Brian Grainger (Milieu), and Brandon James (Paramnesic), and is a regular contributor to the One On Twoism series of electronic music compilations. .

The Saturday Night Band was a disco studio group produced by Moses Dillard and Jesse Boyce. Dillard and Boyce produced two albums under this name, "Come On Dance, Dance" and "Keep Those Lovers Dancing" in 1978 and 1979 respectfully. They are best known for the disco hit, "Come On Dance, Dance" which is very representative of the disco sound in the late 70s. .
