EvilMarkII and Ellis met in the '90s while performing in separate acts on the London club circuit. In late 2002 they started working together on a tech-house project and over the next year it took shape as Loft 55. Releases so far include two 12 inch singles "1-800-Gigilo"/"Psychopath" and "Butterfly Lips"/"Porn School" (Modern Electronic Soul Records) that were very well received, and found their way into DJ sets by Terry Francis, Mr C, Robert Sanchez and LTJ Bukem. Aliens NOT PICTURED! (pictured is British band The Aliens) are a band from Austin, TX. Aliens' first "real" studio recordings were done in 2002, at the home of Virginia Tate. Cripple Clarence Lofton (March 28, 1887 - January 9, 1957), born Albert Clemens in Kingsport, Tennessee, was a noted boogie-woogie pianist and singer. Though Lofton was born with a limp (from which he derived his stage name), he actually started his career as a tap-dancer. This was not his true calling, and he showed his talent in the blues idiom known as boogie-woogie and moved on to perform in Chicago, Illinois. Naoki Maeda (前田尚紀 Maeda Naoki), more commonly called simply Naoki, is a Japanese music composer and producer who works for Konami. Naoki's official title is Konami AM Internal Sound Team. Though Naoki worked on many different video game titles like Salamander, his most known contribution is to the Bemani series: he's the main composer for the Dance Dance Revolution games. Most of his songs are signed with a pseudonym. For example, the two "Sexy Planet" songs are signed as "Crystal Aliens" .
