Article 58 was a jangly post-punk band from Hamilton, Scotland who released their only record, the Event To Come 7", in 1981 on Rational Records. The band featured amongst others future Creeping Bent label owner, Douglas MacIntyre and Clare Grogan husband-to-be Stephen Lironi .
The Articles were a ska-jazz band from Detroit, Michigan. They started gaining national noteriety when a radio version of their song "Starsky" ended up on Moon Ska Records "Skarmageddon 3". Moon Ska signed them to a record deal and they released "Flip F'Real" (produced by prominent ska record producer Victor Rice). After that release they were featured on Moon Ska Records Moon Stomp Tour which showcased their latest greatest talent (They toured with Easy Big Fella of Seattle, WA and the Robustos of Atlanta, GA).
