Dwight Twilley (born June 6, 1951, Tulsa, Oklahoma) is an American pop/rock/powerpop singer-songwriter, best known for his group that he fronted, the Dwight Twilley Band, and their 1975 hit single "I'm on Fire". Also having evergreen power pop tunes to his own name such as "Remedies", Twilley and fellow singer-songwriter Phil Seymour met in 1967 at a theater where they had gone to see The Beatles' 'A Hard Day's Night' film, and they soon began writing and recording together. Dwight Pullen (March 5, 1931 - November 24, 1961) was an American rockabilly artist who was born in Blountsville, Alabama. He was also known as Whitey Pullen in the country music scene. He had recorded a couple well-known songs called Sunglasses After Dark and Teen Age Bug in 1958. These recordings received good reviews in Billboard Magazine on March 3, 1958. None of the songs made it to the Billboard charts. He died of prostate cancer at the age of 30. .
