Flamingos were a doo wop group from the United States, most popular in the mid to late 1950s. They were best known for their song "I Only Have Eyes For You". In 2003, "I Only Have Eyes For You" was inducted into the Grammy Award Hall of Fame. The song inspired an episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Blue Flamingo (real name: Ziya Ertekin) is a DJ from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Ertekin owns a huge collection of 78 RPM jazz and gospel records. He released two unique compilations of this vintage music: 78 R.P.M. (2008) and Congo Jazz (2010). The latter album focuses on jazz and gospel releases from Congo and Congolese jazz artists residing in the surroundings of the Mexican Gulf.
