I create is a band from Woodstock, Georgia, that began playing in 2006. They have released two notable recordings, "Make The Years" (EP 2007), and "All We Are Is Now" (LP 2008). There are multiple artists known as "Create". 1) Duo of Pete Namlook (aka Namlook, Air, Syn) and Charles Uzzell-Edwards, or CUE (aka Octopus, also a part of Drum Machine Circle), 'created' - no pun intended - two vastly different albums in the early 90's, the former consisting of freeform electro with many recurring motifs, sampling oddities and the bizarre 'Uzzell touch' that inflects upon all his recordings; the latter was a more solemn affair, bookended by two twenty-minute field recordings of San Francisco, while the middle tracks were convoluted dark ambient tracks, with traces of industrial and leftfield techno a-plenty....

Based out of Dedham, MA, Discreate is a metal band incorporating elements from classic thrash into a modern based sound. Their new full-length CD, Absent of Light, is out and available now. The seeds of Discreate were planted back in the fall of 2000 when Alex Baldman and Jon Morency got together to jam while both were in other bands.
