Born in Holland in 1982 Maarten developed his passion for dance music at the tender age of 10. Listening to (and highly motivated by) the ‘Turn up the Bass’ compilations, it gave him the inspiration to start producing music on his Amiga 500. Aged just 15 Maarten took to the decks, spinning music on his then belt drive turntables. Becoming one of the youngest resident DJs in Holland he played in local clubs and began networking with other DJs and producers.
