El Cortez is a trance project of two EDM producers/DJs Roger Pierre Shah (aka DJ Shah) and Thomas Godel (aka DJ Cosmo), both from Germany. They also produce music together under the alias 'Purple Mood'. For the 'El Cortez' alias, they have produced only one track so far (as of March 2008) - a melodic trance track called 'Desert Rose'. Having a unique musical vision in the vast ocean of rock is certainly no easy task for a band. An accomplishment and testimony to the fact that a biologist, a photographer, and DJ have forged their own distinct sound through their honest approach.
