Tineke Postma is a star in the Dutch and international jazz scene. During her college years at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, she received two scholarships to study at the Manhattan School for Music in New York, where she was taught by Dick Oatts, David Liebman and Chris Potter. In 2003, Tineke graduated with Honors at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where she has been teaching since 2005. Ineke Sluiter is Professor of Greek at Leiden University, the Netherlands and Academic Director of the Dutch National Graduate School in Classics (OIKOS) (from 2000). She was a Junior Fellow at the Center for Hellenic Studies (Harvard) in 1994-1995, spent a year at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton in 1996-1997, was appointed Associate Professor at the Univ. of Pennsylvania, and then moved to Leiden University (from Jan. 1999).
