Once an architect, Nejat Yavaşoğulları is responsible for the Turkish rock band Bulutsuzluk Özlemi (a.k.a. Mor). He founded the band with Sina Koloğlu (keyboard), Coşkun Şirinkal (bass), Murat Özbey (drums & percussion) in 1986. .

Nejat Alp (b. 1952, Istanbul) is generally regarded as being one of the pioneers of synth-driven Turkish ambient folk. He began his professional career in 1969 by playing bass for various supporting bands in the most elegant clubs of Istanbul.
