"THRIVE" are Tetsuya Yoshida and Hitoshi Kojima. They both grew up in the Northern Tokyo area. The music they were influenced by are various from Alternative, Progressive, Psychedelic bands music to House, Techno, Disco, Balearic, Cosmic, Hip Hop, Dub...all kinds of dance music. They met the club called SOUND A BASE NEST which is owned by TETSUYA YOSHIDA and known as the best sound system in Northern Kanto area, and started the DJ / Producing unit "THRIVE" to make their own tracks in 2007. Thriven was created slowly. Thursday nights. Each week the dreams were taking shape and growing as a lake that receives all the rain and channels water until overflow. It’s when the dreams gives place to ideas and the ingredients mix together and form substances. Two guitar players – Felipe and Sidão – with all the certain took the ideas forward and began hunting for a voice. A few meters away was Pedro, Sidãos old friend and neighbor.
