Sympathy churns out its own unique style of Blackened Death Metal with sickening aggression. Huge walls of thick crunching guitars, coupled with the soaring sounds of synths give Sympathy's music a hauntingly surreal quality that mixes the sinister with the saintly, the malignant with the majestic, and the hellish with the heavenly. Their lyrical themes tend to revolve around subjects such as theology, philosophy, and death. .

There are five artists under the name "The Path": 1.) The Path is a grindcore/sludge band from Southern Indiana heavily influenced by death and doom metal. The band has been labeled Grindcore, Mincecore, Sludgecore, Death Metal, & Powerviolence, but prefer the title/label Southern Indiana Death Grind Sludge Terrorists. Their lyrics themes range from social political to occult topics. Carpathian Forest (previously known as "The Childmolesters", then "Enthrone") emerged with the demo tape "Bloodlust and Perversion" in 1992. In 1993 the band released a second demo: Journey Through the Cold Moors of Svarttjern. The following year, Forest signed to Avantgarde Music and recorded their first EP, Through Chasm, Caves and Titan Woods in 1995, followed by the debut album Black Shining Leather in 1998. The Unfinished Sympathy were a rock band from Barcelona, Spain. They started playing in January 2000 and in December the same year they recorded their first album, self-titled. In october 2001 they made their first european tour across France, Belgium and England, where they recorded the first Peel Session in the BBC studios for a spanish band ever. In 2002 they played with bands such as Bad Religion, Jimmy Eat World or Dover. Then, toured with Joshua and again, this time with Maple.
