The Golden Virgins were a four piece musical group from Sunderland, England. The album 'Songs Of Praise' was released through XL Recordings and published by Hero Music Publishing in 2004. Band members consisted of Lucas Renney (singer/guitarist), Neil Bassett (drums), Dave Younger (synth/keyboards) and Allan Burnup (bass). The band called it a day late 2006. .

Mad Virgins is the name of a punk rock band from Anderlecht in Brussels, Belgium in 1977 and released one single, "I am a Computer". Renamed later into Mad V. After the early chaotic punk style, the group developed an alt powerpop sound influenced by T-Rex and New Wave. There was only one known release with this line-up, the single: "Chinatown"/"A la mode". .

The Virgins were an American indie rock band formed in 2005 based in New York City, New York. They have toured with Jet and opened for Sonic Youth and Patti Smith. The band split-up in November 2013.
