No Smoking was a post-punk band from Rzeszów, Poland, formed in November 1985 by Daniel Kleczyński (guitars, vocals) and Marek Kisiel (bass). The duo performed in live shows using a drum machine and keyboards previously recorded in studio by Luke Rędziniak.
They broke up at the beginning of 1990 because of music differences: Daniel Kleczyński wanted to create a heavy electronic sound using sequencers and samplers, while Marek Kisiel wanted to play fast and simple guitar rock. So Kleczyński created Trumpets & Drums, and Kisiel joined the coldwave band 1984. .
