Lobby was a Slovak eurodance / dancefloor, and later pop-rock group. They formed in 1995 and disbanded in 2001. They released four studio albums: Hi Dee Ho! (1996), Power in Our Hands (1996), Livin' Large (1997) and Lobby2k (2000). Members of the group were: Martina Ostatníková (vocals), Andrej Dziak (keyboards, rapping backing vocals), Milan Michalík (keyboards, rapping, backing vocals), Karol Bližnák (keyboards, rapping, backing vocals) and Miroslav Babják (keyboards, rapping, backing vocals), who left in 1997. .
Mr. Blobby is a fictional character who featured on Noel Edmonds' Saturday night entertainment show Noel's House Party, which was often a ratings winner in the 1990s. He was designed as an outrageously over the top parody of a one-dimensional, mute novelty character, which ironically made him distinctive, absurd and popular.
