The Pigeon Detectives are a five piece indie rock band from Rothwell, Leeds with influences such as The Beatles, The Kinks and The Velvet Underground. Pigeon Detectives, who formed in 2002, found acclaim among DJs and the musical press when they performed at 2006 Reading and Leeds festivals, being tagged as the "band most likely to leap to the main stage in 2007".
They supported Dirty Pretty Things whilst they toured in spring 2006. In early November 2006 they supported fellow West Yorkshire band Kaiser Chiefs, who are known to be fans of the band, on a number of occasions...
The production duo of Gabriel Ben and Tacopimp formed the Tattoo Detectives in 2005 and has become one of the most exciting new talents in the global dance music scene. Their unique blend of electronic, funky, housey, techno elements have often come together to create some floor pounding productions. Occult Detective Club are from North Texas. The band is D. A. Anguiano (Maaster Gaiden, Secret Bangs, Vacation), Andrew Messer (A.N.S, Stymie), Chris Reeves (Collick, Stymie) and Tyler Shults (Druids on Parade, Koji Kondo, Mass Sterilization). They released the ten song LP Tortures in spring 2010 on Red Lounge Records. Their second album Crimes will be released February 2011 on Alive Natural Sound Records. .
