There are at least 9 bands who go by the name Moonshine.

1) Underground hiphop group consisting of Able Body, Vesuvio and Zinn. Their only album under the Moonshine moniker, "Weep No More", was released in 1996 on Arcane Records. Later on the group became known as The Anonymous.

2) Doom metal band from Baltimore, MD. Haunting, slow, groovy, doom metal mastery. Released their self titled CD through Torture Garden Picture Show. You can check them out on MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/moonshinebaltimore.

3) A two man comedy/psychedelic/experimental band from Bahrain. Formed by Hamza Farooq and Varun Menon, Moonshine is a mixture of different styles and a very random sense of humour. They have recently released their first single which can be heard on their MySpace page www.myspace.com/MoonshineBH.

4) Soulful rock band from Long Beach, California featuring Matthew Edwall, former singer of This Love Machine. They have released one album, for free download, on their website www.moonshinelives.com.

5) Melodic blackmetal band from Korea. Main photo is their picture. Very melodic, even if they do blackmetal stuff. They released 3rd. album [Eternal] recently(2008/06/03), which went 'Gothic Metal' style. You could check their music on their MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/moonshineofficial.

6) Hard rock band from Jämtland.

7) Lincoln Nebraska band 2002-2004.

8) Roots, Country, Folk band based in Ireland. The band members are Frank Hall, Lena Ullman, Johnny Moynihan.
