The Analogs is a popular Polish street punk band. They originaly come from Szczecin, and are well known in Poland and are being quite succesful on the international punk rock scene. They are widely recognised as the ones to begin street punk and Oi! music in Poland, despite many bands before them played this kind of music. The Analogs were the first ones to use skinhead symbolics and references in their songs. Clogs is a mostly instrumental project led by Bryce Dessner and Australia's Padma Newsome (both members of rock band The National). Clogs pre-dates The National and débuted with the highly melodic "Thom's Night Out" (Jul 2001, Brassland). Around 1955 or so, Jimmie Logsdon was doing radio shows in Louisville, Kentucky and recording on the Decca record label. He started relatively late in the music business, not doing anything until he left the Air Corps. He just decided he wanted to be a hillbilly music entertainer and before you know it, he had a contract with Decca.
