The Androids of Mu were an all female anarcho punk / post punk band based in London and formed in 1980 after the breakup of the band Here & Now. The band comprised of Suze (vocals), Corina (guitar, vocals), Cosmic (synth, bass, tambourine, vocals) and Birsen (bass, vocals). The Androidss formed in Christchurch, New Zealand in the late 70s. The band was very important on the local scene for it's melodic post punk rock/pop sound, a la Television. They were a regular performing outfit at the Gladstone.
