Egba, or "Electronic Groove & Beat Academy", was a jazz fusion group formed in Stockholm in 1971. Also, Egba is an African tribe living in western Nigeria; this is to indicate the influences of African and Latin-American music on the band's repertoire. Egba was led by trumpeter Ulf Adåker (b. 1945) and saxophonist Ulf Andersson (b. 1940), two musicians with roots in the jazz of the 1960s.
