Il Divo, Italian for "divine male performer," is an international operatic pop vocal group under the Sony BMG music label from United Kingdom. Il Divo is formed by singers David Miller, Sébastien Izambard, Urs Bühler, and Carlos Marín. The idea behind this quartet's creation came to Simon Cowell after listening to Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman's rendition of "Con Te Partirò." Soul Survivor is a worldwide Christian charity based in Watford, London. It runs charismatic Christian festivals worldwide that share the name Soul Survivor. The biggest of these festivals occurs every August at the Royal Bath and West Showground, near Shepton Mallet. There is also a church, founded shortly after the Soul Survivor Festivals and under the same leadership, known as "Soul Survivor Watford". Carnivore was an American crossover thrash metal band formed by Peter Steele (later of Type O Negative fame) out of the ruins of the Brooklyn hard rock group Fallout. They released two albums: Carnivore (1985) and Retaliation (1987). The band broke up not long thereafter. The first album is more traditionally metal-sounding, drawing inspiration from Black Sabbath, Motörhead and 1970s Judas Priest, while the second has significant hardcore punk/crossover influence.
