Formed in 2003, Algorhythms is a collaborative effort between emcee Thirtyseven of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom and Boston-based producer Dr. Quandary, boasting a seamless integration of thought-provoking rhymes and lush, conceptual soundscapes. There are two bands with the name Algor Mortis. (1)Algor Mortis from Hungary, which performs a style of Modern Metal. (2)Algor Mortis from Germany, which performs a style of Atmospheric Black Metal. (1)Algor Mortis hails from Budapest, founded during the autumn of 2000. Following years of lackluster setbacks a lineup finally crystallized in 2004, which to this day carries the banner. The crew are: Endre Alfeldi – drums, Gábor Kígyóssy – guitar, Bálint Üveges – bass and Gergő Rácz – vocals/guitar. The Algorithm is Rémi Gallego, an electronic music composer from Toulouse, Midi-Pyrénées, France. Born October 7, 1989, he began releasing music under this name in 2009 following the dissolution of his former band Dying Breath. It's a fusion of several styles of electronic music with progressive metal, mathcore, and djent. For live performances, he uses an Akai APC40, a MIDI controller produced by the company Akai, co-developed with the German company Ableton, connected to a laptop running Ableton Live. ALGOR was created sometimes in the end of 1998 year as a four-person Black Metal horde. The main idea since beginning was playing Black Metal in the most hateful form. After some problems, the band was reduced to two main members - Aldaron and Slavfist. Some time after, second guitarist was joined. With this line-up the first promo "Promo 2000/2001" has been recorded. Because of problems with musical inactivity, sloth and division of opinion, the second guitarist was kicked out.
