Three Steps to The Ocean was born in January 2006 in Italy. Andrea, Davide, Andrea e Francesco spent this year playing into their cube, moulding their musical intentions, results of their expression and experiences. In December 2006, they recorded (in semi direct-taking) their first promo, Until Today Becomes Yesterday. .

The Insteps were an American ska band based out of New York City. They had a brief career in the mid 1990's and produced only one album "Eleven Steps To Power." That album featured Jamaican toaster King Stitt on two tracks. Their membership included singers Noah Roy and Peter Loshak, guitarist Dave Hahn, trombonist Dave Nelson, saxophonist Keith Crockett, trumpeter Justin Decamp, keyboardist Dave Stone, bassist Sheldon Gregg and drummer Eddie Ocampo. Vertigo Steps play a kind of Heavy Rock/ Atmospheric Metal or as the band ironically self-pinned "Melancholy Metal", with a myriad influences (from post-rock to movie scores, alternative rock to extreme metal). Featuring several guest musicians, Vertigo Steps recorded their very well received debut album ("Vertigo Steps") in April 2008 and their sophomore release ("The Melancholy Hour") in May 2010, both at UltraSoundStudios, with Daniel Cardoso as producer.
