Thera are at least 4 bands or artists called Anode;

1), The Anode is a Swedish electronica producer, based in Stockholm and an active member of The X-Dump Electronica Collective.

2), Anode (band) has been around since 1971, either as a production facility or as a band. The "band" has at various times included other people but it's mostly just Robert Carlberg and Ethiopian drummer I'taj Ajae.

Anode has released tracks on a number of different compilations (including "The American Music Compilation," Eurock Records 1982), and has recorded a dozen albums that have been privately issued only. Anode also has 20 albums released of phonographic sound environments (see phonography.org).

Currently in production are four new albums, each with a different modus operandi. In these days of internet distribution they may even get to release, who knows.
