Steve Whittle Aka DJ Quest is a name synonymous with all things breakbeat. Since first getting into the music in early 2000, Quest has been instrumental in shaping the heavier, more club-oriented style of breaks. Starting with artists at the time such as Stanton Warriors, Blowfelt, Zinc and Deekline helped shape the sound to what it is known as today. Dj Quest is also a highly influential Bay Area Dj that's been around since the late 80's. As a member of the Legendary Bulletproof Scratch Hamsters and their modern counterpart the Space Travellers, Dj Quest has been destroying records alongside the likes of Q-Bert and Disk for more than a few decades. The Scratch Hamsters and it's members are oft forgotten in the sea of bay Area DJ history due to the Piklz all encompassing fame. To this day he still works faderz like few others. .
