Dennis Mitchell, a.k.a D.T.,b.k.a. DENNIS THE MENACE, was born in Detroit, MI in 1982. At the age of 5 , Dennis moved to Sumter County Alabama (COATOPA) to live with his grandmother. Coatopa, AL is where Dennis learned to dream big . With only one channel to watch (lol) on television and no role models in site, it was only a matter of time before music became a vital element for pain and joy with Dennis. Living in Coatopa , AL wasn't easy. Considered to be one of the most low income areas in the south, Dennis had plans that only GOD could ensure would one day prevail. Dennis' grandmother made sure church and hard work ethic was practiced. Considered to be one of da coolest you'll ever meet, Dennis The Menace fanbase is spreading all acorss the world. Dennis got his stage name by having the same exact name as the cartoon character,"DENNIS MITCHELL" . Influenced by Tupac Shakur , Master P, Huey P. Newton and the non representation af ALABAMA as a whole , it seems as if DENNIS THE MENACE was destined for success. Dennis began exploring acting. Dennis The Menace was selected to Hollywood Star Robert Townsend's writing school in 1997. After a failed agreement with Townsend, Dennis moved to Huntsville , AL in summer 2000.
