Gypsy Treasures is the first project of Aria Jalali (railcars) originally formed in 2003 in Los Angeles, California. The project was only active for about a year and had very limited live performances. In 2010, the project was revived during the railcars european tour for their 'cathedral with no eyes' EP. Jalali and his band primarily used tracks like "stray dogs of wroclaw" as encores at the end of railcars concerts.

In 2011, Los Angeles based label Not Not Fun released a collection of four of the songs written in 2004/2005 and rerecorded throughout the decade (except for the song 'four horsemen' which is taken from a live performance in 2004). This collection - "Buried Goods" - is the first physical release by 'Gypsy Treasures' since formation in 2003.

'Buried Goods' can be streamed via bandcamp: http://gypsytreasures.bandcamp.com .
