hello i am julius. in may 2005 i opened my record shop smallville in hamburg st. pauli together with my friends stella and pete (aka lawrence/ sten). we are focused on house, detroit and minimal techno, but also offer electronica stuff and some indie rock. coming from punk music and playing the drums back in the early days, i got into house and techno some day and started to dj. over the years i played at great places like cityfox & zukunft/ zurich, rex, batofar & nouveau casino/ paris, tresor, bar 25 & cookies/ berlin, levontin 7/ tel aviv, p3p/ brüssel, oOoze festival/ croatia, fiction/ cape town and many more.. since early 2006 i organize regular smallville parties in hamburg in clubs like golden pudel, uebel&gefaehrlich and planeten&blumen. we invited guests like omar s, mike huckaby, patrice scott, cassy & tobias, thomas melchior, shinedoe, jus-ed, derrick may, redshape, my my, andy stott, sascha dive, pantha du prince, sleeparchive, heartthrob, digitaline, matt john, bruno pronsato and many more... my first track on vinyl was released in november 2006 on the smallville01- "chestnuts way" w&p by my friend abdeslam hammouda and me. in january 2008 our first 12" came out: TONIGHT WILL BE FINE. smallville06. i am curious what will come up next.. .
